The Spine Center of the well-known network "Respine" in Brovary is soon to celebrate its 5th anniversary. It has become a center for innovative approaches to rehabilitation and health recovery, attracting patients from all over the Kyiv region. As UNN reported, the center's director, rehabilitation doctor and vertebrologist Elena Prudka, explained that the choice of the city was not accidental, as it is actively developing.

Brovary is rightly considered one of the most comfortable cities for doing business. The local government, led by the Brovary mayor Igor Sapozhko, actively promotes entrepreneurship by creating favorable conditions for investors and local businesspeople. Thanks to the city's support, programs for state and international funding aimed at infrastructure development, business support, and job creation are successfully implemented in Brovary.

Systematic support for entrepreneurs, including grant programs, favorable conditions for startups, and assistance in adapting businesses to modern challenges, has formed a favorable business climate. Such conditions have contributed to the development of innovative projects, one of which is the Spine Center of the "Respine" network, which will soon celebrate its 5th anniversary.

"I am a resident of Brovary myself, and the city is young and actively developing. At that time, we noticed that there were simply no services like ours here," Elena Prudka shared about why they decided to open another branch of the well-known Center in Brovary.

From a basement to a modern two-story center

According to the director, the first step in creating the Center was taken in a small basement space of 80 square meters. It housed a massage room, a doctor's office, and a training hall. They operated this way for 3 years.

However, the war brought its own challenges. "When the full-scale invasion began, many employees left, but those who stayed resumed work after a month and a half. There were five of us," recalls Elena Prudka.

Then, as she noted, difficulties arose due to power outages. "We somehow survived the winter, and then I told the management that we should look for another space. So, a year ago, we found a location at 2a Lvivska Street. It's a two-story building... We were satisfied because it is warm, has electricity, and offers plenty of space. And now we have been working there for a year," the director of the Brovary Spine Center shared.

Elena Prudka noted that to expand the center's activities, she utilized grant support. "My son and I received two grants totaling 500,000 hryvnias, which we directed towards purchasing equipment. We also took advantage of employment programs for youth and people with disabilities," she explained.

Unique methods and programs for patients

The Center offers a wide range of services, including biomechanical therapy and kinesitherapy using the Bubnovsky method. "We have three of these devices, and they are occupied all day; there are classes every hour," the director noted. The Center also provides physiotherapeutic procedures, which are very popular among patients.

According to her, there are currently many patients coming not only from Brovary and the surrounding area but also from Pereyaslav, Yahotyn, and other cities in the Kyiv region.

Additionally, the Brovary Spine Center actively supports the military by providing them with free services. "We offer 10 free physiotherapy procedures and a 30% discount on massages and further treatments. This is our initiative, our way of thanking the defenders," Elena Prudka emphasized.

She noted that the Spine Center in Brovary continues to develop and plans to expand its range of services. "We aim to help even more people and implement new rehabilitation methods," Elena Prudka concluded.

Additionally

In Brovary, a Center for Business Support operates under the city council, where entrepreneurs and those planning to start their own business can receive free consultations on business registration, rental of premises, and obtaining grants. This year, about 150 people, primarily representatives of micro and small businesses, have turned to the Center.

According to Brovary Mayor Igor Sapozhko, during the martial law period, as part of the implementation of 76 investment projects, Brovary has managed to attract over 466 million hryvnias in investments and create nearly 600 new jobs. He added that during the martial law period, the number of various firms and individual entrepreneurs in the Brovary community has increased, now totaling over 18,000.

In addition to foreign funding, Brovary will receive other assistance from sister cities. For example, German partners provided the local community with generators, medical equipment, special vehicles, and much more. In October, a representative of the municipality of the German sister city Jena, city councilor Matthias Mitt, visited Brovary to determine specific areas for further cooperation with their Ukrainian colleagues.

Overall, within the framework of cooperation with the German cities of Jena and Erlangen, as well as the district of Lahn-Dill, Brovary has received three ambulances, four fire trucks, three units of municipal transport, one school bus, generators, various equipment for educational institutions, and a modular town where displaced persons live.
