Rock musician Marilyn Manson has agreed to withdraw his lawsuit against his former fiancée, actress Evan Rachel Wood from the series "Westworld," and to pay her attorney fees. This was reported by the Associated Press and relayed by UNN.

Details

This decision came 18 months after a Los Angeles County judge dismissed most of the 2022 claims in which Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner, alleged that Wood fabricated public accusations that he subjected her to sexual and physical abuse during their relationship and encouraged other women to falsify claims.

Manson appealed the judge's ruling, but his attorneys reached out to Wood for a settlement this spring. Wood's lawyers stated that she declined the request to keep the terms confidential.

Manson agreed to pay Wood approximately $327,000 in attorney fees.

The agreement is the result of nearly four years of a criminal investigation involving the 55-year-old Manson and several women, which remains ongoing. Outgoing Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón stated in October that his office's sexual crimes unit has just uncovered new evidence and that a decision on charges will be made when the picture becomes clearer.
