A defender from the Kharkiv region, Vitaliy Reshetylenko, has died in the war.
This was reported by Alexander Husarov, the head of the Pechenizky village council, as conveyed by "Dumka".
According to Husarov, the man was 46 years old. He joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2022. The senior sergeant served alongside his comrades in the Kharkiv region and also worked as a second-category border service inspector.
"The war has taken away a second son from his mother. He died while remaining loyal to his country until the very end. And today, he returns home 'on a shield'. He will be buried in the village of Pyatnytske. Eternal memory!" - the message states.
