In Kharkiv region, authorities have taken four children from their troubled parents: Here’s what we know.

In Kharkiv region, a family has been discovered where children are living in unsatisfactory conditions.

This was reported by the communication department of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to the police, during the inspection of the family, it was noted that the house where the children live is in unsanitary conditions. It is dirty, has an unpleasant odor, and lacks proper nutrition.

Today, December 18, law enforcement officials, along with specialists from the Balakliia City Council's Department for Children and social services center, as well as a pediatrician, identified violations of children's rights. At the scene, the specialists made a decision to immediately remove the minors.

"Due to the fact that the continued presence of the children in the family poses a threat to their psychological and physical well-being, two boys aged 13 and 5, as well as two girls aged 11 and 8, were sent to the hospital for examination," the statement said.

The issue of drawing up an administrative protocol against the negligent mother under Article 184 (Failure by parents or guardians to fulfill their duties in raising children) of the Code of Administrative Offenses is being addressed. It also turned out that the woman had previously been held accountable for improper upbringing of children.
