A tractor driver was injured after an explosion involving explosives in the Kharkiv region.

This was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine for emergency situations in the Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to the State Emergency Service, yesterday, October 23, a tractor detonated on an unidentified explosive object in a field near the village of Bolshaya Kamyshevakha in the Barvenkivska community of the Izium district. As a result of the explosion, a 54-year-old tractor driver was injured, and his equipment was damaged. The injured individual has been hospitalized.

"Dear Kharkiv residents, please be vigilant and cautious! Avoid traveling on unknown or unverified dirt roads, do not touch any suspicious or unfamiliar objects, and refrain from visiting forests, forest belts, fields, river floodplains, and other open areas. This is especially true for places where fighting occurred or that were under hostile occupation. If you discover a suspicious object, report it to the State Emergency Service or the police at phone numbers 101, 102, or 112," emphasized the rescuers.

It is worth noting that similar incidents have occurred in Kharkiv before, as many areas in the region are mined. Recently, a tractor exploded in a field due to an unidentified object.
