In the United States, it is believed that if North Korean troops appear on the front lines, they would be considered legitimate targets for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported during a briefing by John Kirby, a representative of the U.S. National Security Council, as noted by UNN.
Details
According to U.S. information, from early to mid-October, North Korea sent at least 3,000 military personnel to eastern Russia. They arrived by ships from the port of Wonsan to Vladivostok, from where they were dispatched to military training centers.
The White House representative stated that the U.S. currently lacks precise data on whether North Korean troops will be directly involved in combat operations. Nevertheless, he emphasized that such a possibility is a significant concern.
