The fire at the Komarovsk Psychoneurological Boarding House may have been caused by a faulty anti-decubitus mattress.

Based on their information, a fire was recorded on January 4 at 21:44 in the Komarovsk Psychoneurological Boarding House. The flames erupted in one of the rooms.
The preliminary cause of the fire is a short circuit in the electrical wiring of the anti-decubitus mattress.
Six individuals with disabilities were injured, including a 32-year-old man who sustained severe burns over 90% of his body. Another person suffered 20% burns and is in moderate condition. Others experienced carbon monoxide poisoning. All affected individuals have been hospitalized in medical facilities.
