In the Kharkiv region, people said their farewells to the fallen defender Sergey Ovsyannikov.

According to Bakshiev, Ovsyannikov was born on July 5, 1978, and was a resident of the city of Zatopil. He served as a grenade launcher in the 2nd mechanized section of the 1st mechanized platoon of the 2nd mechanized company of the 1st mechanized battalion.

However, on December 20, 2024, the resident of Kharkiv region lost his life while carrying out a combat mission in the vicinity of the settlement Dachenko in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk region. He was laid to rest, surrounded by family, comrades, and caring citizens.
