In Zlatopol, a man was walking around the city with a cold weapon, and the case has now gone to court.

Investigators have submitted an indictment to the court against a resident of the city of Zlatopol who was walking around the city with a cold weapon.

This information was reported by the communication department of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to the police, in mid-July, the Lozovskyi Police Department received a report from a 25-year-old resident of Zlatopol stating that a man was showing his acquaintances an object resembling a "bayonet knife" in one of the stores.

A 37-year-old man voluntarily surrendered the cold weapon to the police, specifically a military bayonet knife for the AK-47 assault rifle.

The investigator recorded the details of the incident in the Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations under Part 2 of Article 263 (illegal handling of weapons, military supplies, or explosives) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The man has been informed of his suspicion of committing a crime.

Investigators have completed the pretrial investigation and sent the indictment along with the materials of the criminal proceedings to the court.
