A man died in Zolochiv due to a homemade heater, according to the Emergency Services.

A man died as a result of a household fire in the village of Zolochiv, Kharkiv region.

This was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka."

According to rescuers, yesterday, October 17, a household fire occurred at 12:35 in a private house in the village of Zolochiv, Bogodukhiv district, resulting in the death of a 65-year-old man.

The fire was caused by a violation of fire safety rules during the use of a homemade electric heater.

The area of the fire was 4 square meters. It was extinguished by the emergency service unit.
