Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that halting Russia's attacks on Ukrainian energy facilities and cargo ships could pave the way for negotiations to end the war. This was reported by the Financial Times, as noted by UNN.
The President added that if Moscow and Kyiv were to agree to cease strikes on each other's energy infrastructures, it would be a significant step towards de-escalating the conflict, referring to Ukrainian drone attacks on Russian oil refineries.
Zelensky also mentioned that Ukraine is currently raising the issue of security guarantees, including NATO, in discussions with Western partners.
