Five medical institutions in Poltava have received humanitarian aid from the charitable foundation of the youth initiative "Hope." The packages were delivered to the military hospital, and later to the regional hospital. Everything brought will definitely be useful for the medical staff, says Deputy Chief Physician Alexander Oleynik.

Alexander Oleynik, Deputy Chief Physician of KP "Poltava Regional Clinical Hospital named after Sklifosovsky": We received tools used for surgical wound treatment and anesthetic support for patients. For the staff, there are caps, shoe covers, gowns, and gloves. These are consumable materials, all of which are single-use. This ensures protection for both the staff and the patients.

Humanitarian aid was also delivered to the 1st City Hospital. These are medical products that the medical institution had requested.

Anna Selkina, Director of KP "1st City Clinical Hospital of PMR": This includes coverings for the operating field and other consumables. They will all be used primarily during surgical interventions and for providing medical assistance when patients visit our healthcare facility.

The 3rd hospital in Poltava also received humanitarian aid. Among the items delivered were a wheelchair, walkers, surgical and laboratory supplies, orthopedic products, vitamins, and much more.

Tatyana Slavko, Senior Nurse at KP "3rd City Clinical Hospital of PMR": This is a very significant help: it includes both bandaging materials and medications for patient care. Every medical worker is very grateful for this humanitarian assistance. It will undoubtedly be essential for our patients.

For the central district hospital, benefactors provided medical equipment for resuscitation, surgery, gastroenterology, cuffs for blood pressure monitors, disposable gynecological mirrors, gels for instrument processing, and many other important items for the daily operations of the medical institution.

Oleg Mekhedko, Director of KP "Poltava Central District Clinical Hospital of PMR": In particular, we received syringes and disinfectants – all of which will be used in all departments of our hospital. In this difficult time for our country and for each of us, charitable assistance in any form is a significant contribution to our collective victory.

The delivery of valuable medical supplies to Poltava was made possible thanks to the First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Health of the Nation, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Charitable Foundation of the Youth Initiative "Hope," Valery Dubil.

Igor Gorzhiy, Head of the City Party Organization of the "Batkivshchyna" Party: We contacted Valery Alexandrovich, and he helped us bring military humanitarian aid to Poltava, to five hospitals, including the military hospital, which today will save the lives of our warriors and those who urgently need these resources for treatment.

The charitable foundation assists not only hospitals but also military personnel, internally displaced persons, people with disabilities, and others, covering all of Ukraine.

Alexey Linnik, representative of the charitable foundation of the youth initiative "Hope": We provide military personnel with charging stations, Starlinks, vitamin complexes, all as per requests. We deliver to many hospitals. In some, only consumables, in others – equipment like MRI machines, for hemodialysis, artificial kidneys. We deliver what we have, and for more valuable requests, we also bring those, with the help of our partners abroad and in Ukraine.
