The first online conference of its kind, featuring representatives from local self-government bodies, took place yesterday. Participating online were Dmitry Zaruba, the First Deputy Chairman of the State Environmental Inspection, and Maxim Zheleznyak, the Director of the Department of State Environmental Supervision (Control). They presented the topic “The Procedure and Features of Conducting Control Measures by the State Environmental Inspection Over Local Self-Government Bodies Exercising Delegated Powers of Executive Authorities,” informing attendees about the process of inspections conducted by local self-government bodies regarding the delegated powers of executive authorities.
This collaboration is intended to enhance cooperation with local self-government bodies, increase environmental awareness and compliance with environmental legislation, provide communities with expert support, and foster experience sharing for creating a sustainable future.
