The State Environmental Inspection found 10 poaching nets in the Sulinsky Reserve.

On October 21, 2024, inspectors from the State Environmental Inspection of the Central District, in cooperation with officers from the Water Police Sector of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Poltava region, discovered and confiscated illegal fishing gear within the territory of the state-designated landscape reserve "Sulinsky." Specifically, they seized 10 mesh nets totaling 1 kilometer, containing various species of aquatic biological resources.

In accordance with the law, the living aquatic biological resources found in the nets were returned to their natural environment.

Given the significant damage caused, the materials related to this incident have been forwarded to law enforcement agencies to identify and hold accountable those responsible for the violation.
