The aim of the project is to enhance the efficiency and safety of handling radioactive materials in Ukraine. The event was attended by Elena Kramarenko, the First Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, along with representatives from the State Agency for the Management of the Exclusion Zone, the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate, LLC "NT-Engineering," and the U.S. Embassy.

"The new forklift can lift up to 10 tons, significantly improving the transportation and storage of radioactive waste, making operations at the facility safer. The forklift has completed all necessary checks and is ready for use. We are grateful to our partners for their support," noted Elena Kramarenko, the First Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine.

Serg Petish, a representative of the U.S. Embassy, emphasized the importance of U.S. support in enhancing radiation safety in Ukraine, stating that this equipment will help reduce risks for workers.

The project aimed at improving the safety of handling radioactive materials continues with financial backing from the U.S. Department of Energy and technical assistance from "NT-Engineering."
