Local hospitals were the first to receive all the wounded: both military personnel and civilians. The war has forever altered the consciousness of all Ukrainians, including medical staff. Russian killers targeted schools, kindergartens, residential buildings, and maternity hospitals with deadly missiles. Sometimes, doctors brought the youngest Ukrainians—infants—back to life. The strain on healthcare facilities remains unchanged. Therefore, today, my team of volunteers from the Hope Charitable Foundation is delivering valuable cargo to 5 hospitals in Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.
This was stated by Valery Dubil, the first deputy chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Health of the Nation and chairman of the supervisory board of the Hope Youth Initiative Charitable Foundation.
“The residents of Kherson are remarkable people who have endured occupation, awaited liberation, and whose faith in our warriors and Ukraine has been unbreakable. This city has become another hero city for us. Nevertheless, the liberated Kherson still requires our support. This time, we brought wheelchairs, consumables, specialized surgical and examination equipment, and vitamin complexes,” he added.
Valery Dubil emphasized that the long journey towards victory and peace in Ukraine is supported by partners: the Denis Paramonov Charitable Foundation, the Revival Foundation, and Geri Care.
“Our foundation not only supports healthcare institutions but also the military. Together with friends and partners, we back the defense forces. I am extremely grateful to Alexey Omelyanenko, Roman Bochka, Igor Korzh, Alexey Yurenko, Natalia Nekrasova, Andrey Milovanov, and everyone else who fights side by side for our Victory,” he concluded.
