Kharkiv police suspect that the city hospital overpaid by 500,000 UAH for a generator, according to the Kharkiv Anti-Corruption Center.

The individual entrepreneur who supplied the generator to the hospital purchased it from another company at a significantly lower price.
Харьковская полиция считает, что городская больница переплатила 0,5 млн грн за генератор, сообщает ХАЦ.

In Kharkiv, the police are investigating the procurement of an expensive generator purchased by the city hospital.

This information was reported by the public organization "Kharkiv Anti-Corruption Center" (HACC), as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to HACC, law enforcement suspects that representatives of City Hospital No. 8 bought the generator with an overpayment of approximately 0.5 million UAH.

This was revealed to anti-corruption activists through a ruling by the Dzerzhinsky District Court of Kharkiv.

The case involves the purchase of a HERTZ HG 150 BD generator, which cost 1 million 450 thousand UAH.

Authorities found that the individual entrepreneur who supplied the generator to the hospital had acquired it from another company for 890 thousand UAH. Thus, the markup amounted to about 500 thousand UAH.

HACC identified this transaction.

On February 6, 2023, City Polyclinic No. 8 of the Kharkiv City Council entered into an agreement with individual entrepreneur Oksana Petrovna Yevminova to purchase the generator for 1.45 million UAH without conducting a tender.

Individual entrepreneur Yevminova had hardly participated in other tenders and is now completely liquidated.

The criminal investigation is ongoing.
