Kharkiv rescuers revealed the aftermath of a fire that injured three children.

In Kharkiv, firefighters from the State Emergency Service rescued 9 people from a fire.

This information was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to the State Emergency Service, on December 2 at 20:05, a fire broke out in a five-story residential building on Petra Hryhorenko Street in the Slobidsky district of Kharkiv. During the firefighting efforts, firefighters saved 9 individuals, including 2 children aged 7 and 11.

Rescue operations were carried out using a fire truck ladder and articulated lifts. One person was evacuated.

The fire resulted in the death of a 36-year-old man and injuries to 9 people, including 3 children. Currently, the injured are receiving treatment in medical facilities.

The area affected by the fire was 50 square meters. It was extinguished by 22:55.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
