"Kharkiv holds a special place in my heart. It’s the city that gave me the feeling of a true home when my professional career started here at the age of 12. A city that continues to provide warmth and protection during this great war. If you ask me where I find motivation to fight in sports arenas? It’s my country, my people, my Kharkiv, and our heroes!" - Svitolina shared.

It is known that the tennis player has been supporting the 13th Brigade of the National Guard "Chartia" financially for several years.

"I had the opportunity to visit them at their training ground, see what’s happening, and talk with the guys. It was very interesting to observe how the exercises are conducted. They shared a lot of interesting information with me. For me, this is additional motivation to organize gatherings and try to help in any way I can," - she added.
