A residential building in Kharkiv region caught fire, resulting in casualties.

In the village of Stara Pokrovka in the Chuhuiv district, one person died and two others were injured as a result of a house fire.

This information was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to the State Emergency Service, as a result of a domestic fire that broke out yesterday, December 7, at 20:42 in a private residential building in the village of Stara Pokrovka, a 69-year-old man lost his life, and two others sustained injuries.

The fire affected structural elements of the house over an area of 70 square meters.

Two operational units of the State Emergency Service were involved in extinguishing the fire.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
