Two people lost their lives in a fire in the Kharkiv region.

On the evening of November 22, a residential fire broke out in the private sector of the village of Kovyahi in the Bohodukhiv district.

This was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to firefighters, a residential house and household items were engulfed in flames over an area of 25 square meters. A man born in 1968 suffered from carbon monoxide poisoning. Unfortunately, the victim passed away in the emergency medical vehicle.

Additionally, firefighters discovered the body of another deceased individual at the scene of the fire (age and identity are being established by law enforcement).
