A drunk driver in a Skoda crashed into another vehicle in Kharkiv.

Yesterday, December 12, a Skoda car ran a red light and collided with a Nissan.

This information was reported by the Patrol Police of the Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to the patrol police, the accident occurred around 12:00 on Poltavska Street. During the interaction, signs of alcohol intoxication were observed in the offending driver. He was asked to undergo a relevant sobriety test, but he refused. Additionally, during the document check, it was revealed that he was deprived of his driving privileges.

The patrol officers removed the driver from the vehicle and prepared administrative protocols against him under Article 124 (Traffic violation leading to an accident), Part 1 of Article 130 (Driver's refusal to undergo sobriety testing), and issued an administrative ruling under Part 4 of Article 126 (Driving by a person deprived of the right to drive) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.
