In Kharkiv, a man attacked an acquaintance and committed robbery. The court has determined the preventive measure.

A perpetrator has been apprehended in Kharkiv for assaulting an acquaintance and stealing his mobile phone.

This information was reported by the communication department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to police reports, the crime took place in the Saltivskyi district around five o'clock. At that time, the assailant approached his acquaintance and began to beat him with his hands and feet. After the man fell, the perpetrator took his mobile phone and fled the scene.

Subsequently, law enforcement officers arrested the assailant. He was identified as a 25-year-old local resident, from whom evidence was seized.

The man has been officially charged and detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The court has ordered his detention as a preventive measure.
