In one of the stores in the village of Koziyevka, Bogodukhiv District, a saleswoman failed to verify the age of a young customer and sold her beer.
This was reported by the communications department of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".
The police stated that the violations were discovered by juvenile prevention inspectors during preventive measures conducted in the territory of the Krasnokutsk territorial community. They documented the fact of selling alcoholic beverages to a 16-year-old girl.
A report was filed against the 33-year-old saleswoman under part 2 of Article of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.
The police held a discussion with the parents of the minor.
The sale of alcoholic drinks and tobacco products to minors carries administrative liability and entails a fine ranging from 6,800 to 13,600 hryvnias.
