In the Kharkiv region, a pensioner lost their life in a car accident.

In the Kharkiv region, a traffic accident occurred. One person was killed, and another sustained injuries.

According to "Dumka," this information was reported by the communications department of the National Police of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region.

As per law enforcement officials, the road traffic incident took place on December 8 at approximately 10:05 on the "Kharkiv-Merefa-Lozova-Pavlograd" highway.

As a result of the accident, a 75-year-old driver of a Chevrolet Nubira died at the scene from his injuries. His female passenger sustained multiple injuries and was hospitalized.

In connection with this incident, investigators have initiated a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 286 (violation of traffic safety rules or operation of transport by individuals managing vehicles) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
