On Wednesday, October 30, the police department No. 2 of the Chuhuiv district received a report from a resident of the village of Taranivka, stating that the night before, unknown individuals had violently taken possession of her son-in-law's property.
This was reported by the communications department of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, according to "Dumka".
It was revealed that around 23:05, the victim was returning home when two unknown individuals approached him from behind, began to beat him, and took his bag containing documents, a Xiaomi Redmi 10 mobile phone, and a wallet with money. After the attack, the assailants fled the scene.
The perpetrators were identified as local residents born in 2007 and 2005.
According to law enforcement officials, physical evidence has been seized, the location of the stolen property has been established, and it has been returned to the owner.
Investigators from the procedural guidance of the Zmiiv department of the Chuhuiv district prosecutor's office informed the attackers of their suspicion of committing a crime under part 4 of article 187 (robbery) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The court has chosen a preventive measure of alternative detention for the suspects.
